I grew up building houses so I’ve always been drawn to carpentry. After an unfortunate back injury I was forced to retire from work that is hard on my back and I decided to finish my degree in computer science as well as teach myself how to carve and engrave. I immediately fell in love with laser engraving and wood carving. I’ve never been good at monetizing my skills so initially it took some convincing from others to start carving things for revenue. I never thought of it as a way to make money, I just enjoy it. But I’ve come to realize how much people appreciate my work so I decided to spread the joy whenever possible. I’m always up for a new challenge.
